$Please Call$ 1955 XK140 MC Rdstr (808) 949-5163
This roadster is a beautiful example of the XK 140 OTS (Open Two Seat) series of cars. It was built in early April of 1955, as a LHD (Left Hand Drive) car designated for export to the US. It left the factory for the docks on 17 April 1955, and was delivered on 27 June 1955, through Max Hoffman & CO. New York, to its original owner (Jaguar Heritage Certificate available). The car is currently located in Illinois, and has always been stored inside in a heated, air conditioned area since coming into the possession of the current owner, who is believed to be only the third owner of this car. As indicated by the chassis number, S 811273 D/N, the car was produced with the "S" option which indicates that the car was a special equipment vehicle, (commonly referred to as an "MC" option car in the US market) and on XK140s produced for the US market this consisted of fitting of the "Type C" competition head, oversized carbs, wire wheels and dual exhaust. As indicated by the D/N at the end of the chassis number the car is fitted with the Laycock de Normanville overdrive unit on the 4 speed gearbox. The Engine serial number, G 3050-8 S, indicates that it was built with the 8:1 compression ratio pistons, as shown by the -8, and the S at the end of the number again, indicates that the engine was originally manufactured with the special equipment engine options.

This is a matching number car (Chassis, Gearbox, Engine and Body) and is in excellent condition. The car was originally produced in a two color exterior color scheme of Dove Gray with a French Gray bonnet (hood). Its' current color scheme is all white. The interior is the original Red leather, with a red leather covered dash. A unique feature is the fiberglass removable hardtop, which was not an option available from the factory, but was custom made for this car.

The car really needs to be seen to seen and driven to understand how nice a car it is! Click on a view below to see the picture.

$Reasonable Offer$ 1971 XKE V12 Series III Coupe (281) 531-6130

SORRY, IT'S BEEN S O L D ! ! ! ! December 2000

This car is an excellent example of the XKE series III V12, and happens to be the 59th V12 Coupe off the assembly line. A lot of work has been put into the car recently and it was shown at the Nov 4th, 2000, Jaguar Club of Houston Concours where it took 2nd place in the JCNA class D4 for daily driven cars. The JCNA judges scored the car a 9.948 out of 10.000 which indicates that the car is considered to be very original and clean. The car is a Maroon-red with camel interior and has an automatic transmission & factory air. The seats have all been re-done, as have the interior door panels. It has a new set of tires and the exhaust system appears to be fairly recent. In the interior everything that is supposed to be there is in fact there, and it is where it is supposed to be, and looking like it is supposed to look, with one exception, which is the radio with built in CD player. Even the AC is the centrally mounted factory unit, and not the right side "Knee Knocker", add-on unit.

While there are a number of photos of the vehicle from various angles, it really needs to be seen to see how nice a car it is. Click on a view below to see the picture.

$? Serious Offers Only Jaguar 3.8 E type FHC Left hand drive (US Model) By Appointment Only

SORRY, IT'S BEEN S O L D ! ! ! ! October 2000

Date of manufacture: 14th November 1961 (Heritage certificate) - Chassis number 885201(201st LHD car into the US) - Engine number R2689-9 - Body number V1219 - Metallic Gray (originally bronze) - Flat floor/ welded louvered bonnet - Three owners from new with a documented total of 29,500 miles. CA car all it's life except for the past year in Texas. The car was rebuilt completely in 1989-1991 in California - It was valued at $70,000 in 1991 on completion by independent appraisal. Modifications from original include an Alternator, four speed synchro gearbox, complete stainless exhaust system and radial tires. Everything else is as original equipment. Concours awards and prizes.

From a defect point of view there are four small stone chips to the paint, one on each wing. A small depression adjacent to the filler neck where some nice person decided to kneel on the wing and a "quarter" sized raised piece of filler on the top of the quarter panel which has been there since repaint in 1991 according to the previous owner.

The inside is absolutely stunning in Black with all the right bits literally in, as new, condition. The photos of the vehicle are good, but don't really do it justice.
